Master BMS system design - Octave

Design of a Master Battery Management System for energy storage solutions with re-used batteries. Total system capacity is over 100kWh. The BMS system will ensure correct charging and loading and has on-board connectivity towards external interfaces to send data to the cloud and receive control signals.

Home battery energy storage  - Mygrid

Together with Mygrid we designed the high-voltage charger-inverter system to enable both charging from the grid and feeding to the grid from this portable home battery system. It has an on-board custom designed bidirectional PFC with HVDC link and isolated bidirectional buck-boost. The appliance is used to enable peak shaving in small households and to optimize the energy bill.

Energy harvesting watch design - Ethos

Together with Ethos, we have designed an energy harvesting system for a sustainable watch design. The system is harvesting energy based on the warmth of the skin of the person wearing the watch. This thermo-electric harvested energy is then stored and the watch can run perpetually based on energy provided by the owner.

Medical wearable design - Bainisha

We designed wearable monitoring hardware for Bainisha. It enables them to capture data on-body with their extremely high accuracy sensor sytems. The system enables communication and high throughput data storage, while being extremely low power to enable long lifetime of the solution.

Wearable fitness tracker  - Qicks

Together with Qicks, we designed a wearable fitness tracker for aquatic environments. The system has sensors on-board and  performs real-time data processing for immediate feedback to the user.

IOT connectivity gateway - Forcebit

We designed a custom board for Forcebit to be connected to a Raspberry Pi gateway. The custom board captures critical sensor data, performs processing of the data and communicates with the gateway to feedback control signals to machines. This is an example of a quick way to evaluate functionality with a combination of custom + off-the-shelf boards.

Fire alarm system - Kingspan

Together with Kingspan, we designed a custom PCB for a fire alarm system. This PCB is used to control a touch display for interaction with and monitoring of the fire alarm application.

Custom IC measurement and demonstrator boards  - Micledi

Together with Micledi, we designed a break-out board for measurements of their custom IC. The board enables Micledi to do quick testing, perform demo's and do in-depth analysis via the extensive breakout connectors.

Smart connected energy plug  - Thermovault

Together with Thermovault, we are creating a smart connected energy plug. The device will enable peak shaving by controlling a massive amount of electrical appliances at the same time.

IOT mesh network sensing system  - Versasense

We are helping Versasense with hardware design for their IOT mesh network sensing system. This is a modular sensing approach with several sensor notes in an IOT Mesh network. Together with Versasense, we created new hardware designs for new sensors and worked towards manufacturability for large volume production.

PFC power control for fogger system  - Roam Technology

For Roam Technology, we implemented and adjusted a PFC motor control solution to enable the device to meet the necessary conducted EMC standards and radiated emission standards. This enabled Roam Technology to successfully deploy the product in the European market.
